To change your character on the forums, go to forum settings on the left hand side, there you can select your character, check the box that says default character, then update settings. Good luck with your search for a corp :)

I find it worth salvaging level twos. Mission payouts are around 200k, plus bounties. In a destroyer with 4 tractor beams and 4 salvagers, I can loot and salvage generally in the same less time than it takes to run the mission. Payout from looting...
